Data Privacy Matters at Dimensional Research
Dimensional Research is committed to protecting data privacy and ensuring that all personal information is handled responsibly. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal details of our clients and research participants.
Data We Collect
We collect personal information of two main groups:
- Clients and Business Contacts: This includes contact details (name, email, phone number, job title, company name) and other relevant information provided to us during business relationship interactions.
- Research Participants: This includes name, title, role, contact information, demographic data, and research responses of individuals who participate in our surveys, interviews, or focus groups. Participation is voluntary, and we collect data only with explicit consent.
How We Collect Data
We only use personal data provided to us from individuals who proactively reach out to interact with Dimensional Research via email, phone, social media, or other communication methods. For certain research projects, we may use independent sources of participants (i.e. panels, LinkedIN, etc.) but Dimensional captures data for future use only with explicit consent. If appropriate, we may temporarily hold details of our client’s contacts, in which case that data remains under the control of our client contracts and is not merged with Dimensional’s general client or participant data.
How We Use This Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- Conducting market research
- Managing our client relationships
- Communicating with clients and research participants
- Fulfilling research incentives
- Conducting general business operations
- Complying with legal and compliance obligations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Sharing Information
Dimensional Research never shares any details of individual participants with our clients. All demographic information is shared only within summary reports. Dimensional will never sell or rent any personal data of our clients or our research participants. We will only share personal information at the express request of an individual or a legal authority.
Data Security
We implement robust security measures to protect client and research participant data from unauthorized access, loss, or breaches. This includes encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. We work only with vendors who provide enterprise quality data security (ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2.)
Individual Rights
- Access and Control: Individuals have the right to confirm, correct, or request deletion of personal data.
- Opt-Out: Individuals can opt-out of receiving communications at any time.
- Data Portability: Individuals can request a copy of their data in a structured, human-readable format.
- Non-Discrimination: Exercising privacy rights will not result in discrimination against any individual.
